Stephen is the Sustainability Manager at Bioeconomy Science Institute Maiangi Taiao – an organisation tasked with making our bioeconomy the best it can be. Hailing from biological research, the belief that we need to find solutions that see humanity remain within the planetary boundaries is central to him. The issues we face are wicked problems that have multiple dimensions which require blending social understanding with science limits to allow us to arrive at meaningful solutions
