Do you have a fabulous network, a background in business development, sales, or similar, and a passion for driving change for a sustainable future? We are looking for 2-3 volunteers who can dedicate 4+ hours a week to helping us grow our network.

About us

PAN is a New Zealand based charitable trust with a global outlook. Our purpose is to help people, businesses, and governments to operate within the planet’s limits. We do this by using a framework called Planetary Accounting – which helps break down global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, and deforestation into manageable chunks so that people can identify the specific actions they can take to drive change.

About the roles

We are looking for several Network Ambassadors to join our growing team. These roles are part-time, voluntary roles that we anticipate will need 4+ hours of your time per week. This is a great opportunity to apply your passion and experience to make a real difference to the health of the planet.

Key activities you will be involved in will include:

• Connect with and present an overview about PAN with organisations who might be interesting in joining the Planetary Accounting Network

• Support the Marketing & Communications Team to grow our reach through social media channels

• Work with our team to identify ways to bring others into the Network and enhance our interactions with our existing Network

 

About you

Maybe you have taken some time out from the workforce but are looking to keep your toe in the game. Maybe you already have a job you love but feel you’d like to do more for the planet! Maybe you want the chance to work in an exciting start-up where you have more opportunity leave your mark. Ideally you will have relevant experience either in business development or sales and would feel comfortable representing PAN and all that we stand for.

You will be a self-starter and a fantastic communicator who is organised, enthusiastic, and reliable. We operate as a virtual team so you this role would suit any location and we have a completely flexible work schedule. While we generally run meetings to suit a New Zealand time-zone we do have two volunteers based in the UK so we already do early/late meeting slots to suit. We are also looking to grow our international network so encourage applications within and outside New Zealand.
